Knives for Sale

The knives found on this page are currently available through the website. Starting May 13, 2023 we will also have a booth at the weekly Farmers Markets in Okanogan (Saturdays) and Omak, WA (Tuesdays. At the Farmers Markets we will also be offering knife sharpening, so bring your dull knives for a touch up. If you have well-loved knives that need repair and or reconditioning, bring those along as well. Custom orders can be placed at any time. With few exceptions (like the Fillet Knives which come without a sheath) each knife’s price includes both the knife and the custom sheath shown with it!

Just a point of information, no matter what handle material is used (Wood, horn, antlers, etc.) I stabilize EVERYTHING. What this means for you, the purchaser, is that the handle material will hold up to use, just like the blade, as long as you care for your knife properly! What does that mean? All blades should be kept dry and oiled when not in use. High carbon steel will rust if it is not treated this way. Handles, too, should be kept clean and dry after use, and occasionally oiled. Trout Fillet             $75      

The blade of this trout fillet is made of D2 steel that has been electro-etched. The handle is from a piece of American Walnut that is over 200 years old, given to me by a man who had saved the wood when they were taking down an old barn in Tennessee. The blade is 4 7/8″ L and 1/2″ wide. OAL is 10″ and the knife comes with a custom-made leather sheath with belt loop.

And now for something completely different!

A lot of people have been asking for kitchen, chef quality knives. The response to the Fillet knives was really good so… drum roll!… here is the first ever chef’s cleaver. The handle is an elk shed with copper inlaid into the grooves. Spacers are copper as are the endcaps which are made from copper one-ounce coins. Overall length is 7 1/2″ and blade is 3″ wide.

Yes, it’s expensive, but I do not make Sanmai, which it is made of, and the blade alone cost me $200!

Etched 440C (high carbon Stainless Steel); OAL 12 1/2”; Blade: 6 1/2” x 1 3/16” x 3/16”; Scales: African Black Wood, Macarta black and brass; Brass & Black Fiber Liners.

Blade: San-Mai (High Carbon Center sandwiched between layers of more pliable metal ground to look like Damascus). Do not know the specifics as it was a piece given to me. With the high carbon steel core, I would suggest it be treated as a high carbon steel blade. Dimensions: 2 1/2” L x 1” W x 1/8” T, OAL 5 7/8”. You will notice I created a ridged pattern in the steel within the handle. This should offer a bit better grip. Handle: Curly Koa from Hawaii, with White Brass pins and accents.

Blade is Acid Etched 1075 High Carbon Steel, Flat Ground 4 1/4” L, 1” W, 5/64” T; OAL 9”; Handle Material is Zebra Wood with Blue Liners and Copper pins. Hand Crafted Leather Sheath.

Blade: Electro-Etched Stainless Steel 7 1/2” L.; OAL is 12 ¼”. The S-wedge is sharpened! Scales are 200 year old Oak that came from a Historic Cabin restore in Tennessee. A piece 4”x6”x3’ was given to me so when that’s gone – it’s gone. There is no sheath as leather will not work for this one and I didn’t want to increase the cost by finding somebody that does “Kydex”.


Defender 01 $175

The Defender was designed specifically with the ladies in mind. The sheath is flat and has a beltloop at the back so it can either be worn on the belt, flat to the body or dropped safely into your purse. Blade is etched 440C High Carbon Stainless Steel; 3 5/16″ L x 1 1/16″ W x 0.8″ T, OAL is 7 3/8″ Scales are Faux Antique Ivory w/blue liners.

Tinker may be tiny compared to other knives I make but it is just as mighty! This would be a good knife for the Lady of the House or a good first fixed-blade for a daughter or son. The blade is etched D2 Tool Steel; 2 1/8″ L x 5/8″ w x 1/8″ T, OAL 5 1/2″. Scales are Zebra Wood w/green liners and peened copper pins and logo.

  1. I just picked up a few knives for Christmas gifts and I can tell the recipients are going to be very happy. The craftsmanship is excellent, the prices very good, and the designs are bitchen.

    I can already tell I’ll be back for more “acquisitions.” lol.
